i'll be travelling to spain by plane soon, and will take laptop. what security checks will i need to go thru?
I've heard that when you go to america they aren't really checking what you have on your laptop, just what your reaction will be. And if you seem nervous they'll take the laptop or hold you for ages etc. And if i'm in that situation, even if my laptop was completely blank, I know i'll be nervous and look shifty. So just wondering what its like when flying to Spain - do they just scan it to make sure its not a bomb and thats it? PS, before you all give me dirty looks, there's no child porn on my laptop. <_<

The security checks for flying to Spain will be just like the security checks for flying in the US. Don't worry about it. No one is going to check your laptop content (unless you fly EL AL to Israel where they have increased security procedures, for good reason).

they will make you take your laptop out of the bag at the airport and put it throw like other carry on bags. there should be nothing else, as long as it is a aptop you have nothing to worry about
