Will I have Internet on an international flight

Will I have Internet on an international flight?
I am going on an 11 hour flight to Spain tommorow night and I'm planning on bringing my laptop to use on the flight. I thought I wouldn't have Internet because I will be on a plane, but I was told my someone on here that there may actually be Internet on the flight because it is international. Is this true? Thanks!

Answer 1 :
That completely depends on their airline and the type of aircraft...
Answer 2 :
Check the airlines website. Delta was offering free wifi over christmas on some flights but now they are charging for it. Sometimes you won't know until you get there because only some planes have been equipped for internet. The internet on the delta flights was a little slow but still was nice to have.
Answer 3 :
No. Take a book.
Answer 4 :
Most likely, no. Lufthansa is testing an over-water internet system but you are not traveling to Germany. The current system used by US carriers is called Gogo. Gogo uses modified cell phone towers to direct internet signals toward the sky. It currently works only within the continental US and within 100 miles of the border
